In addition to our core research areas, the Neurology Rare Disease Center is actively involved in a range of other clinical trials aimed at advancing treatments for complex neurological and neuromuscular conditions. These studies provide patients with access to innovative therapies while contributing to the future of care.

One such condition is myotonic dystrophy, a genetic disorder characterized by progressive muscle weakness and prolonged muscle contractions (myotonia), which can impact mobility, daily function, and multiple organ systems over time.

At the Neurology Rare Disease Center, we are dedicated to advancing neurological care through active involvement in clinical research and compassionate, patient-centered support. Our experienced team works closely with individuals and families to explain available clinical trials, review eligibility criteria, and guide participants throughout the research journey with transparency and care. We encourage you to explore the clinical trial opportunities available at our center and learn more about how these studies work.

To inquire about any of our clinical trials, please call (972) 999-1011.
